In the following pages, we give JCL examples for GEODYN II in all operational systems The GEODYN II program consists of three steps:

STEP 1 / TDF (TRACKING DATA FORMATTER)

STEP 2 / GIIS (DATA BLOCKING AND PREPROCESSING)

STEP 3 / GIIE (EXECUTION, ORBIT INTEGRATION, GEODETIC PARAMETER ESTIMATION)

Furthermore we provide a number of setups for representative GEODYN II runs. These setups are input on FT05 (IBM) or fort.4 (CRAY) of the TDF step or the GIIS step. Simulated data information is input on FT17 (IBM) or fort.17 (CRAY) of the GIIS step in case of simulated data generation.

An effort has been made to include as many GEODYN II capabilities as possible and to document the following section in great detail.
